Description : 

This artwork depicts the Hawaiian volcano goddess Pele being gently calmed by the god of the sea. 

Their colors blend together in places, symbolizing their growing harmony. 

The sea god is adorned with Hawaiian flowers and bears a sea emblem on his arm, while Pele’s arm is marked with a mountain symbol, and her body embodies the spirit of a volcano. 

Traces of blue are woven into Pele’s fiery form, representing both the hues of volcanic landscapes and the calming influence of the sea god gradually merging with her. 

The scene conveys not only the soothing of Pele’s anger but also a subtle sense of affection between the two, 

capturing the serene, romantic spirit of Hawaii.

This artwork was inspired by my personal experiences living in Hawaii in the past. The time I spent there deeply influenced me, and it is from those memories and feelings that this piece was born.
